Practice areas

A real estate transaction, a divorce or a traffic matter can look routine to an experienced attorney. It doesn't look that way from the client's side. What's at stake is your rights, your freedom and your reputation, and protecting those comes first in every case.

Paul has handled all of these areas since 1996. He takes a practical and precise approach to litigation, which often gets a good result without the expense of needless additional litigation costs.

Common violations, and what they carry

Driving without a license
A fine of $200 to $500 or imprisonment for not more than 60 days, and no license issued for at least 180 days.
Driving on a suspended license
A fine of $500, a surcharge of $250 for 3 years, and a 6-month license suspension.
Reckless driving
A fine of $50 to $200 or imprisonment not exceeding 60 days, or both, even on a first offense.
Driving uninsured
A fine of $300 to $1,000, a period of community service as determined by the court, and suspension of driving privileges for 1 year on a first offense.
Speeding

These are the penalties the statutes set. What a court imposes in a given case is a separate question, and it's the one worth calling about.
